Wildcat FACULTY.............................9 SENIORS............................17 FAVORITES..........................29 CLASSES............................35 ORGANIZATIONS.....................4 7 ATHLETICS..........................47 ACTIVITIES.........................57 ADVERTISING........................67 PRESENTED BY THE CLASS OF 1971 SCHROON LAKE CENTRAL SCHOOL Dedication The Class of 1971 would especially 1 ike to thank Mrs. Tennyson for her inspiration to us through her friendly attitude and understanding for her students. We express our gratitude for the help she gave us whichmade the twoyearswe spent in her homeroom memorable ones. Special Tribute We, the class of '71, and all the student body of Schroon Lake Central School, remember Miss Bodin's undying interest in, not only her students, but in the entire school. We thank you for your great concern and guidance that you have given us throughout the years. Merci beaucoup! Special Tribute For many years, Mr. Venner was devoted to keep- ing our school one that we could be proud of. The class of '71 would like to show their appreciation for his outstanding services by making this tribute to him. Principal's Message Success in life is most often determined by the ed- ucational background, the ambition and the personality of each individual person. With the many scholarships now available almost all students are able to follow some form of higher education either in the trades of academic fields. How well you do from now on is strictly up to you. Congratulations to the Class of 1971. A Tribute Mr. and Mrs. Williford, the Class of 1971 would like to express its appre- ciation for the guidance you have given us. Board of Education L. to R.: J. Ward, R. Tyrrell, A. Haley, L. Traver (President), T. Werner, S. Harris, J. Kelly, R. Williford. Alma Mater On the hill above the lakeside Caressed by wind and sun, Stands our well-loved Alma Mater As she yields her palms to none. To her ever wel'll be loyal We'll shout her praises still; And We’ll lift the white and crimson And uphold it with a will. We shall wander in life's journeys Afar from dear old Schroon. We shall drift beyond the mountains And must face the foe too soon; But the days we've spent together Will cheer us for the fight; And Wel'll conquer in life's battles Neath the crimson and the white. G. McKEE, Business Manager S. ROBLEE, Editor We would like to express our appre- ciation to everyone who helped with the 1971 editionof the Wildcat.” The class of '71 hopes you enjoy it. “Wildcat” Staff L. to R. SEATED: J.
