It is our hope that, in the future, the editors and business man- agers will have as much co-operation as we have from their fellow students, for only this makes a successful year- book.” EDITORS: John Tucker Eric Bailey BUSINESS MANAGERS: Catherine DeZalia Reba Lucia YEARBOOK STAFF Left to Right; Roger Bensen, Photo Editor; Dale Lucia, Subscription manager; Eric Bailey, Editor-in-Chief; John Tucker, Editor-in-Chief; Catherine DeZalia, Business Manager; Reba Lucia, Business Manager; Robert Burke, Photo Editor. ALMA MATER On the hill above the lake side Caressed by wind and sun, Stands our well loved alma mater As she yields her palms to none. To her ever we’ll be loyal We’ll shout her praises still; And we’ll lift the white and crimson And uphold it with a will. We shall wander in life's journeys Afar from dear old Schroon We shall drift beyond the mountains And must face the foe too soon; But the days we spend together Will cheer us for the fight; And we'll conquer in life's battles Neath the crimson and the white. 3 IN MEMORIAM James Flewelling was a friend to all of us. His friendly, cheerful attitude always greeted anyone he met, and no one will forget the fondness with which he engulfed our school. DEDICATION We, the class of 1967, dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Wilson. It is through his hard work and unselfish devotion, that Schroon Lake Central can look upon the Cardinal and the Honor Society and proclaim them successful. It is our hope that Mr. Wilson will continue to teach in Schroon Lake Central so those who study under him may become as inspired as we have. 4 PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The past thirteen years of your lives have been spent in getting a basic education which we hope has pre- pared you for your future life’s endeavors. The amount of education you have absorbed has been for the most part up to your individual efforts under the continual aid and encouragement of your teachers and parents. This is the end of only the first part of your educational careers and it is the hope of all of us that you go on individually to greater and better achievements. A TRIBUTE We, the class of 1967, wish to thank Mr. and Mrs. Tucker for the work they have de- voted to our class in mak- ing the last four years suc- cessful. 5 CUSTODIANS: L. to R. - C. Ven ner, D.
