VVe, the Staff of the 1959 Recall feel that this school year will long be remembered as the time when The Cus Schreiner Student Center became a reality. Made possible by the Synod of Texas, Presbyterian Church, U. S., and by loyal supporters of Schreiner Institute locally and throughout the state, the Student Center is a testimonial to what may be accomplished by many working together. For this year's students and for students in the years to come, we would like to take this opportunity to express sincere thanks to all who have had a part in building and fumishing The Cus Schreiner Student Center: To the Church, which conceived the campaign that resulted in this building: to the Board of Tnistees of Schreiner Institute for their vision and foresight: to the architect who planned the Center so beautifully, and to ex-students Frank Thomason and jasper Moore, who constructed it with more than ordinary interest and careg to President Andrew Edington, under whose direction all has been done: and to the thousands of friends, patrons, students, and ex-students, whose small or large gifts have underwritten the project. It is our hope that in making possible The Gus Schreiner Student Center all of these loyal friends have had a part in the even more important business of building men who will be worthy of their interest, their labors. and their generosity.
