J. LAUGHLIN CAPT. CLINTON C. MASON, COMMANDANT Capt. Mason, World War veteran and graduate of Texas A, 26 M. College, came to Schreiner with its opening in 1923. That year he served as Com- mandant and had as his assistant our former Commandant, Mr. Patterson. In 1925 Capt. Mason took over the Work of the Dean's office, Mr. Patter- son taking the position of Commandant. At the end of that year Capt. Mason resigned from the Deanship and went to the American Creamery in Kcrville, but the beginning of the second term this year found him back with us. His proficient work, with the aid of the student officers, is portrayed in the Crack Company. A. J. LAUGHLIN, Ass1sTANT COMMANDANT Snag Laughlin graduated from the Sophomore Class at Schreiner in 1926. He came back the next year as Assistant Commandant, which position he has since held. The majority of the disciplinary problems at Schreiner fall into the hands of i'Snag Who has shown his sense of fair play and sportsmanship in dealing out penalty to those whose offenses called for it and he has shown tact in reprimanding others. .......,..,,, N W .WW N 1.
