English Involved with the concept of the whole student, the English Depart- ment continually expands its horizons. New courses, which are in- troduced quarterly, stimulate the interest of students while they build on the fundamentals of writing, reading and speech. The basic philos- ophy of the department enables both faculty and students to work harmoniously in academic pursuits as well as in extra-curricular activi- ties.
