BOYS' VOLLEYBALLTEAM i 5 The S. of O. volley ball team was a great improvement over last year's team, however, next year's team looks even better. Although they didn't win but two games they still had that same old fight in them when they fought the hardest teams in the league and lost by close scores. They entered the Blue Eye Tourney but lost to Hollister and Branson and were eliminated. The graduating class took most of the players but there is still some very good material for next year's team. We of the graduating class wish to thank Coach Farrel for teaching us this new game.

JUNIOR BOYS BASKET BALL TEAM Before volley ball was over, we started building for a basketball team. Though we had good matierial to start with, soon we were down to ten men. Our first game, with Reed's Springs, on our own court, we lost by two points. We lost the next two games. In our first game with Branson we did quite well the first three quarters but weakened in the last quarter and lost by four points. After Christmas we made a New Year's resolution not to lose any games this year, and we did quite well for sometime, rolling up a winning streak of five games. We entered two tournaments this year and won the sportsmanship prize in botlh. Also we placed Claude Mo-yer on the all-star team in the Crane tourney. No more games were won after these tournaments. Three men on the first team graduate this year, but we have some good scrubs coming up. We have been dubbed The One or Two Point Team this year, be- cause we lost so many games by either one or two points. '

GIRLS' VOLLEY BAILL TEAM When The School of the Ozarks girls fall in line, We're going to win this game another time! Yes, The School of tlhe Ozarks Girls' volley ball team is back again. Although the girls are not allowed to play basket ball again this season, they played some very peppy volley ball games. Perhaps the team's re- cord was not so outstanding this year as in previous years, but they got much enjoyment out of the sport afforded by these games. I, dare say it would do your heart good to see the sportsmanship displayed by these girls from the Ozark hills. They certainly had bountiful opportunities to display sportsmanship this year, because it seemed that luck was against them, but: Whoop her up, whoop her up, whoop her up some more, S. of O. is the school the students all adore She is a peachy she won our hearts, She always plays the gameg She is not roughg she is not tough, But she gets there just the same!
