We have had several nice picnics and social programs, but have devoted most of our time tlo religious activities. LINCOLN DEBATING CLUB Fifty boys and girls applauding at the speech of a beginner as though they had just heard an orationg the presdient and secretary being called down for cutting up during the programg the sponsor buying a book on debating so she would be ready for any question which might be put to herg Alfred Fain delivering an oration on grafting spaghetti treesg Juniors and Seniors joining tfne Club because they Want to learn to talk before giving their chapel talks g-All this goes into making up the Lincoln Debating Club which is larger this year than ever before. From this group came the boy who was the most outstanding speak- er in this section of the State this year. The entire Club has given ea- ger support to the debating teams as they have entered tournaments. But the credit for our success goes for the most part to our new sponsor who has labored long and patiently for us. Daisies to you, Miss True!
