DEPARTMENTN oi? BIBLE GEORGE F. BELL To Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Elsea we owe the endowment of our Bible de- partment. To Dr. and Mrs. Bell and Miss Wilson we owe our knowledge. Four years of Bible are required at The School of the Ozarks and are willingly taken. To realize the actual knowledge gained by the students from the Bible courses, perhaps you would have to see an S. of O. student in contest with others on Bible questions. The most important phase of work at the School is the spiritual side. This year, we feel, our spiritual life has been more outstanding than ever before. Early in the new year Dr. William Crowe held a week's meeting. The entire School was greatly inspired by Dr. Crowes messages, and many young people were led to made a profession of their faith. Later Dr. John Crockett conducted services over the week-end, and other young people came forward. Our series of meetings for the year culminated with the pre-Easter' messages of Rev. A. H. Sargent. at which time eigh- teen boys and girls came into the church.
