Do You Remember? Although graduation is behind us, we will part our separate ways but we will always remember. Sharon getting married July 5 and always saying “sit yourself down Chardo — This is a trainex Corporation . . . ZZZZZZ — Pick your head up Miss Bradford. Flowy pulling at her stockings and getting people scratching with itching powder. Roxy — never remembering to bring her camera. Debbie Carpenter’s moldy salad, her first date and her love for the Cameo. Jerry being the only male in a bushel of women. Some nerve he’s got or maybe it’s guts. Nelissa saying “is today Tuesday, are meal cards due?” Debbie asking Lulu if she wants half of her pie? Marlene shortening her uniforms to prove she actually had legs and also shortening her fingers typing for the ye arbook. Robin having pitting edema and busting through her shoes. All of this plus tachycardia just for a brand new baby. Barb chasing meatball who drug her cap through the mud after she poured red Hawaiian punch down the front of her uniform. Susan’s men — Billy? Jay? Pete? Tommy? Who’s her next victim? Betty’s brown bag — will it keep till Saturday? Carolyn not agreeing with the teachers — saying, “according to your notes we should be leaving 5 min. before schedule. Debbie W. reminding Kevin to bring Mrs. Guy some oysters and her first anniversary on Valentine’s day. Lulu having psychic powers trying to convince Flowy she has ESP. We mustn’t forget Bean soup Reuben sandwiches. Betsy practicing for bed making 2 weeks before time. By the way how’s the folks in Beverly Hills? Mrs. Smith repeating over and over, you can and you will, so go study. Mrs. Doutt asking if there are any scraps for meatball. Mrs. Duer stating if the meal tickets aren’t in you won’t eat! Eva Lee smiling and grinning when Vernon came up. She surely is in love. Mrs. Guy saying, “why won’t you ever get together?” Mrs. Holland running for the cake but never daring to step on the scales when we had too each month. Mrs. Mapp saying, What’s this and swallow string? All and all it has been fun and we’ll never forget it . . . How could we!!! Your historian, Charlotte Bradford. 29
