THE LONGEST WALK NICE WAY TO START THE DAY Sometimes this walk is the longest mile, But we try to meet it with a smile. We know our job is waiting there, And we can help someone because we care. With God’s help to show the way, It really is a nice way to start the day! Now, the longest mile is a nice long walk, As friends go together and share pleasant talk. There we work with others with the same type goals; Bringing relief to our patients’ minds, bodies and souls. With God’s help to show the way, It really is a nice way to start the day! The memories will last our whole life through, As we travel down the path with skies both dark blue. Our jobs are many — not only giving pills, But caring for the patient’s numerous ills. With God’s help to show the way, It really is a nice way to start the day! i
