Our Schedule was full of exciting act ivities. We held our Christmas Bazaar where we had a luncheon and raffled off a color television. We also went Christmas caroling which we all en- joyed. We then had a weeks vacation which was quite ' a surprise. Upon our return from our vacation we had our first day on duty. Our next big event was on February 9th when we held our capping ceremony, our parents were invited and it was a big occasion for all. Early in May we raffled an Afghan which was donated by Mrs. Doutt, our housemother. May 9th, we visited the mental institution in Williamsburg, The following week on the Ibth and 17th, we attended the LPN convention in Rich¬ mond, where we met Miss Eleanor J, Smith, R.N. The Executive Secretary of the Virginia State Board of Nursing, As classes start coming to an end, we all look forward to graduation and the challenge of learning situations Miss Linda Birch Class Historian
