P, N. Convention in Charlottesville, The Christmas spirit was really displayed as everyone worked together to make this bazaar possible. Page 25 We, the students, had the privilege of entertaining at the R. N. ’s Christmas party which turned out to be a lot of fun. The R. N, s had as much fun watching us, as we did putting on the show. Besides the family skit, we sang ”Let There Be Peace.” Page 26 Page 27 If., I- t ■ r I pledge myself to the ideals of and purposes of practical nursing; to render the best possible service; to the human¬ itarian aims of the hospital of which I may be a part; to assist the physician and the professional nurse at the bedside of the acutely ill; to strengthen the hands of a mother in the care of her new¬ born child and to help keep the family in tact, when its mainstay and support is threatened. In so dedicating myself, I shall reach a worthy goal in my life, and meet the sacred responsibility entrusted to me by my fellowman. Page 28 BINGO April found us gathering prizes, baking, and preparing for our Bingo Party, This party turned out to be really successful. It was fun not only for th© guests, but for the students too.
