To The Class of June, 1955 Dear Boys and Girls, Do you remember the day, three or four years ago, when you came to S. I. A. to take your entrance test, lugging a portfolio almost as big as yourself? Do you remember your first feelings as you saw this old building, and do you remember, too. how graduation from high school seemed so far, far away? VVell, the time has come at last, you have completed your high school education and are about to graduate. Congratulations! As we look back. it seems that the years you spent here have gone all too quickly. Yet they were important years and in them much was accomplished. You came to us as children, you leave us as young men and women. You know a lot of things now that you didn't know then. and you have acquired many skills. You are ready to take your place in the adult world. But there are other things of great importance that have been accomplished also. Along with skills and knowledge, you have grown in your understanding of people. You have learned to appreciate the worth of human beings, you know the value of kindness. consideration. loyalty. As you leave S. I. A.. hold tight to the ideals you acquired here and to the friendships you formed. Goodbye. good luck. God bless you. l Sznrerel 35 Principal

X, f .J 1 ,I l ' 1 lf, Dear Girls and Boys: Because of you. has your home. your community and your school become a better place? Sometimes it seems as though the good things we do go unnoticed. unre- warded. It does not matter! It only matters that we have done something good for the sake of goodness. Our lives are made up of all the little things we do, the words we speak, the actions we perform. I know here at S.I.A. you have learned to live with each other, to respect each other's rights, to appreciate your fellow pupils' accom- plishments, to share with them their sorrow and to rejoice in their success. My hope and prayer for each of you is that every day may find you contributing something-some word or deed that will help someone else, and therefore yourself, to a full, rich. and successful existence. God speed you to a happy life! auf?
