DEDICATION We, the Class of 1979, would like to pay tribute to Mrs. Jo Trowbridge. While working at Schoharie for the past eleven years, she has helped us grow artistically by letting us develop our own natural talents. Mrs. Trow- bridge has followed our education since our beginning years at Schoharie Central School. For this reason, she has become a very special friend. Mrs. Trowbridge graduated from Fayetville-Manlius High School and continued her education at S.U.C. at New Paltz and S.U.C. at Oneonta. She has completed graduate work at the University of San Francisco at Guada- lajara, Mexico, the University of San Diego at Guadalajara, Mexico anil at the Stale University of Binghamton at Cuernavaca, Mexico. Jo resides in Cobleskill with her husband Jay, who teaches math at Cobleskill High School. They have two children: a daughter Julia, who attends the University of Florida at Gainesville and a son Rich, who is married and graduated from Jacksonville University on a NROTC scholarship. For these reasons and many more, we salute you. Mrs. Trowbridge. 2 DEDICATION Likewise, the Class of 1979 would like to pay tribute to Mr. Howard Bartholomew. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Bartholomew was born in Cobleskill and raised in Middleburgh, where he attended Middleburgh Central School. He graduated in 1961 with a Regents diploma. After high school, he went on to Union College, where he received his B.A. in history in 1965 and to S.U.C. at Oneonta, where he received his M.A. in social science in 1967. While in college, he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and participated in football and band. His wife Sherrie, has been an elementary teacher at Duanesburg Elementary School. Within the last year, Mr. and Mrs. Bartholomew have had a son. Alexander. Mr. Bartholomew has been here at Schoharie since 1967. He has always been there to help us with any problems we may have had. Mr. Bartholomew is as great a friend as he is a teacher. lor these reasons, we salute Mr. Bartholo- SENIORS SARAH JEAN MOONEY DARLENE JAYNE M ATTICE Wheelie Vice President President JAMES T. Everybody has been very friendly and everybody has been interested in hearing what I had to tell about my country, Sweden. It has been nice to be in Schoharie Central School, and it has been a great experience to me, to see how life is going on in an American high school. I will always have nice thoughts about Schoharie and I hope that I some day will have enough money to come back on a visit. First, I would like to introduce myself. I’m a Rotary Exchange student from the Philippine Islands. My father is Adrian C. Pabayo, who works for Del Monte as an administra- tive coordinator. My mother, Dorothy Jean Pabayo, works for the government in the tourism field. I have two sisters, Jenny, 12 and Mylene, 9. My father is also a national vice-president of the Philippine Jaycees and is a member of our city’s Rotary club. District 385. At home, I go to Xavier University High School. It is quite different from Schoharie Central. We don’t have Junior High School, so we go straight from grade 6 to a freshman in High School. It has been a great experience for me here in Schoharie. I want to thank all my friends, the Rotary Club of Schoharie and all my foster parents. I wish all my classmates a happy future and good luck! JUNIORS Row 1: S. Young, K. Smith, K. Sevems, T.
