,wing paris 1571566411 Our '57 baseball team was one of which we are proud. We tied Middleburg for the Southeastern District Championship with 4 wins and 2 losses, but lost to them in a close playoff game, 3 to 2. Our infield proved solid with a triple play turned in against Berne. This is a rare feat and especially in a school league. They also made four double plays in a game against Duanesburg. Donnie Howard Q2 wins-0 lossesj and Rudy Sturm C 1 win-2 lossesj were our most effective pitchers. We lost only four seniors from the team and are looking forward to the Championship this year.
