66444 Paws All Senior classes share the same fate Of teachers' dislike and the coming Iune date. We know we must leave and hate to do it, But memories help to brace us up to it. It was always our class that took off on a spree- The Money-mad Kids of '49 were we. This year much credit goes to Bill, Herman and Wilbur Whose pop-selling ability did cross us with silver And while at a game we can stop and see The ones that missing next year will be. Our basketball team will sure show a dent When our players, Bob and Jimmy, have went. Wanda, Marilyn and Betty will really be hurt When leaving the squad on which they have worked. A word must be said for Thelma's song, For without it, how would our game get along? The halls will echo with Warren's shrill whistle And Lenny's trumpet giving song as a missle. Perhaps you'ss remember more than their noise Our more silent Seniors with quietness and poise. The various two somes will no more be seen Wandering in the halls or on the school green. The quartette must now take a final bow For its various performances have wowed you and how! Many dances we've had, not all were successful, The results of those few were very distressful. Of course you remember our Junior Dance renouned When Jim and Marilyn were Prince and Princess crowned For the rest of our classmates, I'll put it in verse- So read on, my friends, it couldn't get worse. While looking for duplicates, we all agree Our redhead Lauretta seems the last one to beg For pint-size in stature but large in ambition Lorainne and Mabel Will hold up tradition. And then there is Catherine so full of laughter With Bett C's similar trait following close after. It's always our Larry who gets in a jam, And Marshall who's ready with an ever-helping hand. Date Scutt is reserved but the world I am telling She really is tops when it come to Ad-selling. I know you appreciate our talented boy, Dick, Who drew many Ads that triumphantly click. Kathleen you'd remember for her raven-hued hair, When it comes to looks, she's really all there! Our two little Bernices will really feel a loss When graduation is over and their paths no more cross. Our Marilyn Cook, it is easy to see, Will some day a very good homemaker be. Billy Reisinger is new and we're hoping he stays And remembers his classmates the rest of his days. Last, but not least, is our friend, Billy Best, Who took Greeley's advice and really went West Mimi Canton's had fun reminiscing this way Bout the classmates she meets in the hall every dayg To each one she extends a hearty So l.long -- Four years of Memories - how fast they have gone. She sincerely hopes, as the years slip by, She'll meet up again with each gal and guy. 28
