In Miss Tweedie we early recognized a superior teacher, but we soon came to know her also as our close friend and counselor. As our English instructor and class advisor, she helped to guide us through our most difficult and decisive years. These rooms and halls no more we'll know, Forth to do battle with life we go. Our life is like some vast lake that is slowly filling with the stream of our years. As the waters creep surely upward the landmarks of the past are one by one submerged. But there shall always be memory to lift its head above the tide until the lake is over- flowing.
