THE WEEK BEFORE PROM was an interesting sight to see at S.H.S, A visitor walking through the halls during this week on any given day was apt to see Senior stu- dents appearing a bit odd. Sponsored by Senior Class, each day in the week was supposed to be a specific dress up day for Seniors. The days and whether or not a certain day had been made official by the office was a bit confusing. But as these pictures testify, many Se- niors participated to the fullest and the week brought lots of laughs to everyone. Joiuag xiao My

2 57 Villa Olivia Scene Of Prom Held in the impressive Empire Room at the Villa Olivia, the lunior class presented Schaumburg's second dinner-dance prom. The main course of the dinner was a delicious chicken kiev lbreast of chicken! cooked in wine sauce. The music be- gan at nine o'clock with Bill Scott and his orchestra. They played many popular tunes in soft, sentimental rhythms, in- cluding the Prom's theme Moments to Remember and the song of the year, Killing me Softly . There were slides show- ing events from the past year, the honoring of the very lovely Queen, Terry Brandenburg and her court, and the excitement of the garter pull. Officer Alley was presented a departing gift at the prom. There was dancing andthe remembering of paSt fun. Quiet walks around the small pond just outside the Villa brought truly many moments to remember. ZX
