Variety Show Sparked By Charlie Brown The year's annual Variety Show could honestly be called just that. A lot of hard work, practice, and ofcourse varied talent provided a thoroughly enjoyable program. The V Show had two parts - the first showing a serious side, and the second something which could only be called an audience delight. lon Kalkwarf, M.C. and stu- dent director, joined the Choraliers to start the evening of entertainment with selections from Cabaret . From this, audition winners moved right into the individual talent which ranged from ballet, to dramatic readings, to guitar. The Choraliers came back for the second act based on the musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown . Large audi- ences gave the annual variety show its first standing ova- tion in three years. 14
