We, the members of the Senior Class of nineteen hundred fifty-eight, feel grateful and privileged to have the honor of being the first candidates for Graduation from Schalmont High School. In an effort to show our appreciation, we would like to dedicate its first yearbook, SABRETTE, to everyone who has helped make our beautiful school become a reality. We dedicate it to YOU: the administration who has endured the headaches and heartaches of organizing our school system, our Principal and friend, Mr. Brown, who has hoped, planned, and worked so long and earnestly for a centralized school district. the members of the faculty who have guided us so patiently through our studies during this school year, and in many cases, during previous years. all of the area taxpayers, upon whom rests the responsibility of financing our school, the architects, construction companies, and workers who did such a fine job. And last, but certainly by far not least, our wonderful parents who have valued education so dearly that they have sacrificed that we might have a better future. £ cAjiX X}
