Rockettes Bounce Back To Schaller's 1980-81 Rockettes finished their bas- ketball season with 11 wins and 10 losses. The Rock- ettes then upset four teams before losing to state qualifier Remsen-Union by one point in overtime of semi-finals. In the end, the Rockettes were sectionals champi- ons and one of the top sixteen 1-A teams in the state! Next year's Rockettes will be without senior guards Ann Crawford and Rita Tokheim, and for- ward Tracey VanBuskirk. Their presence will be missedg however they left Schaller pride for future teams to carry on. we acer, Set it up! l But Look To The Future Tim Taylor was the seasons Most Valuable Wrestler. Tim erased the record book in four spots. He bettered John Breuklander's 29 takedowns with 35, he bettered Chuck Foell's 25 near falls by one for 26, he bettered a three way tie of 11 falls with 18 and he gained Brad Tuels 21-4 season record with a 22-3 record. Tim won the Unlimited Title at sectionals and went on to place 3rd at districts. He missed going to state by one place but he will have another try in his senior year and we wish him good luck for another winning season.
