ws., When the day comes that we can say we have learned nothing new, we have stopped living. In school, we learn not only one, but many new facts daily, thus malcing life truly worth living. Although too often we accept our precious opportunity for education with an air of indifference and minimize the importance of the intellectual, there are times in every student's life when he cannot help but realize, to some extent, the heritage that is his in an education made accessible to all. Perhaps because our elementary and high school education is provided and made com- pulsory, we are not as thankful as we should be, or not as expressive of the gratitude we experience. Education is one of the more important things of life, for it satisfies man's natural desire for the acquisition of knowl- edge and contributes towards the full cle- velopment of the human mind. At Scecina, these Enlightening Hours are emphasized as the most important hours in a student's school life. Therefore, in this edition of the SCECINARAMA we devote one division solely to the consideration of the various classes and classroom procedures which serve to augment and vitalize the learning activities of a Scecina student.
