Girls League First Row: Mrs. Watts, advisor, Donna Bates, Judy Johnson, Kay Kjelland, Wynette Carter, Julie Burg. Second Row: Sonja Barnwell, Kathy Young, Joyce Heath, Jo Ann Jenkins, Bette Vale, Nancy Shenefeit, Darcy Mikesh, Diana Nissen. Third Row: Karen Davis, Judy Kessi, tfonnie Johnson, Evelyn Tarbell, Mariiyn Shoemaker, Janice Brady, Judy Nissen, Bernice Bur- on. The Cirls League is an organization composed of all the girls in the school. These girls sponsored the annual Valentine s Party on February 12 where a king and queen were chosen. They also sponsored the girl-of-the-month. They sold pop during noon and at games to raise money. Several girls also participated in a Meier G Frank y style show given in the spring. J The International Relations League is a na- tion-wide organization of sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in world events. This year the main topic was HDO Our Mili- tary Alliances Serve Their Purposes.H This topic was a basis for the annual I.R.L. convention at the University of Ore- gon in Eugene. In order to finance our activities this year they sold chili at noon and sponsored a dance which was well-attended.
