Our parade was a symbolic one in which the common people had to take up the yoke in order to help the soldiers and sailors save Liberty from her oppressors. The Prom was a complete success! We didn't lose a centg in fact, we made ten! The lfight Monarchs of Rhythm furnished music for the dancers, who gaily cavorted under varicolored halloons, which our enterprising committee had managed to secure in spite of priorities. 'llhe last important activity of this year was our traditional junior Trip to New York City. Having sold our weight in candy in order to go, we had a dandy time spending the money. Not only that, hut we managed to save enough to he ahle to do our part for Uncle Sam. A-ii t I - Room I0 Room I5

union! Room I2 .. hrinking, shrinking, shrinking-pardon us if our voice sounds thin, hut we're down to three hoinerooins now. We admit that we were dormant during our first two years in high school, hut now that we've started, we're going to be hard to stop. The vitality of our class officers-Charles Davis, Marjorie O'Grady, Muriel Wentisch, and Jack Danes-helped start a tidal wave of activity which nearly swept a Class Night victory from the reach of the Sophsg but they managed to hang on for a tie for first place with us. Ours was not a flashy victory earned by a few Hrsts, but we won by keeping up a high standard in all the divisions of the contest.
