Foreword lnformality is the theme of the 1939 Sayville Senior. Through a familiar and friendly style, the staff has attempted to give an intimate pic- ture of all phases of school life. ln these pages we have endeavored to capture the spirit of this year's activities. Although we may not have wholly succeeded in making a transition from the formal annual of the past to one which is more nearly in keeping with the tempo of to- day, the fun and experience of this new venture have, in themselves, been sufficient reward for our efforts.
