Department Chairman BUSINESS Although the primary concern of the Business Department is the training of students to meet the needs of the business world, its aims also include the development of the mental and physical qualities of the student. It recognizes the fact that a student needs more than proficiency in typewriting, stenography, book- keeping, and other skills. The ever changing needs of business require that prospective employees be resourceful, adaptable, tactful, have a good command of written and spoken English, and be able to get along with their co-workers.
