CECELIA BIESIADA Toots Student Council: 1; Library Club: 1; (President) Sophomore Class; Glee Club: 3; Dramatic Club: 4. Toots makes friends easily and keeps them. She loves people and people love her. Celie has only one dislike—a Friday without an as- sembly. She would like to be an angel in white. BENNY BOEHM Oz Latin Club: 1, 2; Senior Commercial Club: 4. Oz is the quiet type who never has much to say, not even in class. Benny's interest in sports announcing may some day be a reality, but now you may find him attending that little gas station near his home. SANDRA BREHME Sandy Senior Commercial Club: 4. Swimming in summer and skating in winter are Sandy's chief occupations. Daily chores are overlooked in her routine, for Sandy would like to travel and meet people. Looking for Sandy? Call the Perth Amboy Roller Rink. 15

RICHARD DAVIS Rick Echo-Lites: 1, 2, 3, 4; Football: 2; Basketball: 3; Mat Club: 4. What would the Old Bridge girls do without Rick and his air conditioned Model A? They'd be stranded after the basketball games, no doubt. Rick always has a smile and a hello for everyone, especially girls. Main ambition —Navy. Hobby--Girls. Chief Diversion—Girls. That's Rick! JOY DEMAREST Glee Club: 1; Senior Commercial Club: 4. Tiny, quiet—that's Joy. Swimming and roller skating occupy most of her time. Joy hates homework because it interferes with her favor- ite hobby—visiting the various skating arenas. She thinks she will become a secretary; her friends think she will skate her way to fame. CHARLES DERENT Football: 1, 2, 3, 4; Basketball: 1, 3, 4; Baseball: 1, 2, 3; Mat Club: 4. He lives for sports can truly be said of Chubby. Although a three-letter man, his main interest is baseball. Now Chubby is in there pitching for Uncle Sam—perhaps after V-day he'll be pitching for the Yankees. 17
