The Board of Education is the body which serves to govern the many affairs of the Sayre school system. It consists of three elected assemblages-the directors of the Sayre Area joint High School, the board members of the Sayre Area Schools, and the rep- resentatives of the Sayre Borough School District, the Executive Committee being composed of representatives of each of the three groups. Of the Sayre Area Joint School directors, seven come from Sayre with two from each of the other districts which include South Waverly Borough, Athens Township, and Litchfield Township. Sayre schools are in the hands of very capable men who spend much time and energy in upholding Sayre's fine school program. ff 4 Five
