Dhii Eook 3i Proudly D)edicated to C0JCJ4 Qjmj mwjumdh 2 To recognize a coach who does an excellent job with his ball teams and never brags on himself, we the 1983-84 annual staff would like to dedicate our annual to COACH GARY ROWLAND. He has been coaching for eleven years, the last five at Savoy. Since he has been at Savoy, his record stands at 89 wins, 41 losses. This year he added more than just the girls’ teams; he also coached the varsity boys to 14 wins and 14 losses. He was selected 1983-84 Girls' Coach of the Year. In 1982-83, he took his girls’ team to District, Bi-District, and Area cham- pionships, and lost at Regionals by only two points. This year his girl ball team won District and Bi- District, while he carried the boys' team to second in District. For all the long afternoons and nights of workouts and games which may have seemed to go unnoticed, we would like to say THANKS!
