Box Tops Provide Playground Equipment Our school entered the Post Cereal Physical Fitness and Sports Equipment drive this year. Each class collected and saved post cereal box tops. This was an exciting contest, as there was to be a winner for the student of each class who saved the most box tops and also a winner for the class saving the most. The students really enjoyed looking at the chart that was posted in the hall to see which class was ahead. The contest ended March 31, with a total of 1860 box tops collected. The sixth grade won the contest for having saved the most box tops with a total of 420. They were given an ice cream party. The teacher of each class bought a gift for the student that saved the most box tops in her grade. Winners of the contest who are pictured on the slide are: Amy Moore, Michelle Doan, Donna Duncan, Mike Tay- lor, Troy Cox, Elton Whitfield, and Terry Malone. Each class will receive playground balls, jump ropes, and bean bag toss games. The grade school teachers would like to thank the students, parents and friends who helped them during the contest.
