Over the Superintendent s Desk “Prof 7 J. W. Moulton Dear Students. Another school year has passed, and wc. trust that it has l een worth while to all of you. We hope that we have been able to teach you some of the things that are worth while in life, especial- ly in these troublesome times, when the whole w rid is in a state of turmoil, confusion, darkness and gloom. We are fighting for the ideals of democracy, freedom, and likely all the things w.ll last. Ever remember that the life that is worth while is a life of Service; Service to your fellowman, Service to your Country, Service to your God. “Let me live in my house by the side of the road. Where the race of men go by— They are good, they are bad, they are weak, they are. strong, Wise, foolish—so am 1. Then why should I sit in the scorner’s seat, Or hurl the cynic’s ban? Let me live in my house by the side of the road And be a friend to man.” Your friend, J. W. MOULTON.
