1-V -:H 5' board of education principaI's message This was a year of decisionforthe ANOVAS staff. Rising production costs, depleted sources of advertising due in part to the flood, and a limited sales market have about priced us out of existence. It was acase of raise more money or raise the price of the book. Since the price was at ceiling for maximum sales, the staff elected to pound the pavement and come up with new ideas for financial support. We applaud their determination and effort as we sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labor. The ANOVAS spotlights the total school program but zooms in on the seniors. Another fine group of young grad- uates is on the home stretch. We have had good times to- gether and it has been my personal pleasure to watch many of you in action from the day you entered kindergarten. And from what I see now, I am convinced that someone has been doing a real fine job. I suspect the credit can be shared by your parents, teachers and many friends who have extended a helping hand along the way. And your com- munity must be recognized for the opportunity it has given you. As you leave, a bit of you has rubbed off on us who have come in contact with you and we give to you our best wishes in the years ahead, Let your light so shine before all that they may observe your good workl , Gimwf
