ALMA MATER Mid green fields and meadows 'Neath sunshine and shadows Our high school stands To which we all are true. A grand stately building With broad lawns surrounding and over all A vault of Heaven's blue. Dear old Savona Pride of her many valiant sons When out on life's ocean, with hearts of devotion We'll think of thee and of our victories won. Sedan! Gratitude and Tribute Proudly we pay tribute to our Alma Mater whose real objective is to de- velop good and usefulcitizens. To ac- complish this, she stresses three areas--physical, social, and mental development. First, we are encouraged to build strong bodies through a physical ed- ucation program and sports activities. Second, our social development is aided by participation in class, club, and extra-curricular activities. But of foremost importance is our mental development. A competent faculty and fine facilities provide us with necessary knowledge to form the basis for either a job or college. Our gratitude to our Alma Mater will only be expressed as we put to good use this knowledge which she has so freely bestowed upon us.
