One lone runner, doing the best he can. Running for time. All of a sudden iiWhooshPi The runner is being blown backwards by the fierce wind. Watching, you think that the only way this runner is going to win is if he goes back the way he came, then cross the finish line. Just one obstacle. Some may think that track is not a team sport, but, according to . Coach Jack Lund, it is. iiOf course,, track is a team sport. iiWe look for ' a team score, and we also look to score in every event. We go as a team. Paula Bevirt l87 commented, one word that describes track is iiteamwork. She explained, iiWith- out it, you really arenlt a team? Carma Way i88, described track as being iifun.
