The 1969 edition of the Eagle herewith presents, in pictures and portraits a story of life at Savannah High School during the past academic year. For many of us, this year marked the end of preparations for careers, for countless others, just a little more than a beginning. Savannah Country As most of us glance back in retrospect to our beginning here some twelve years ago, we saw among us a change in peISpective-a more objective look at things in our school life as well as situations in our home environment. We gradually paid less and less time to the unimportant and more and more thought and concern about the essential things in life. We took joy and sorrow in our strides, knowing that as our dedicated teachers admonished, success or failure .in the final analysis, depended on what we put into life.
