Tropgecy gar C759 Ofass Of1969 What will the future bring for the class of 69? One night the spirit of 79 came to me to pierce the veil of darkness that covered the future. She told me of the great work the class will do. Here is what she said. The spirit reported that Daisy Newborn, Deloris Cogdell and Evelyn Coward are famous women surgeons. James Speight and Andrew Coward took a ttTRIPii and don,t know how to come off it. We see Deacon Johnny Mack Brown, Deacon Willis Earl Brown and Reverend Herbert Kilpatrick conducting their regular Sunday Morning services at Saint Paulis Cathedral in New York City. The choir is under the direction of Sister Minnie Moore and Sister Linda Koonce is at the piano. My, what a glorious Sunday that was. Blaine Hargett has just won the honor of becoming'the first Negro Astronaut along with Roland Best. Ralph McCoy, Herlis Moore, Onterio Washington, and William Moore are prominent members of the Presidenfs Cabinet. Linda Mitchell is Secretary of the Womenis Division of the army. Peggy Cobb, Elva Newborn, and Brenda King have finally grown to the height of 5, 7,1 They are professionals now working in one of the greatest modeling companies in Los Angeles, California. Believe it or not Mrs. Smokey Robinson tformerly Miss Anna Daughetyl struck it rich and donated $40,000 for the betterment of UCLA, so that her crumb crushers, Melvin Davis and Andrew Hargett, will be able to attend this great school. Look! Itis Peggy Fulleris melodious voice and Mattie Wiggins playing the piano fabulously, doing a concert at Carnegie Hall. On television, we see Ronnie Collins, Crist Canady, Frazlier Pope, and Darold Cox singing their latest hit record. Jackie Dove and Jackie Daughety are background singers for Aretha Franklin. They are married to Sam and Dave. Roland Hill and Franklin Kilpatrick are earning $600 a month as typists in the Pentagon. Lester Stanley, Nannie Gray, Geraldine Brown, and Dora Plymouth hold positions in Mr. Dynamite Brownis band. Marvin Banks, Henry Taylor, Clyde Moore, and Wilbert Rouse are famous basketball stars now playing with the Boston Celtics. Leroy Cantey, F ranklin Nobles, and Frederick Cratch have made it into the big time playing with the Globe Trotters. Johnnie Edwards and Alvin Sutton can be seen cruisingxaround town at all hours wearing their uBig Hats? You guessed it-they are policemen. Did you hear the latest? Gail Ellison and Martha Pierce just got married last year. And of all things they had a double wedding. The lucky guys are Sidney Poiter and Sammy Davis, Jr. For all of you who Visit Raleigh frequently, be sure to stop in to see William Barnes, Palmer Davis, and William King. Their business office for their chain of stores is located there. The whereabouts of Amanda Williams, Theresa Mumford, Millie Pridgen, Joyce Davis; and Shirley Moye are not known. The last we heard, they were on a cruise around the world with millionaire husbands. The seniors of tt79ii are ordering their rings today. Brenda Hill is the chief representative now. She sends the order off to Philly where the company is headed by Freddie Dison. From Paris we hear about the famous designers of Womenis Clothing, Harold Cox and Sandra McNeal. They have designed styles that are really out of sight. Cornell Sutton, James Leary, and Leslie Thorbs have earned their way to fame as stage managers for M.G.M. We regret to report that Ben Smith, Theodore Strong, and Robert Smith can no longer be located in the US. They were deported by Donald Fisher for writing letters to his wife, Virginia Chapman. The Kinsey twins, Joy and Joyce, are go-go girls at the Whiskey A-Go-Go. James Dunk and Jesse Morris have designed a brand new car the tSutmol. Lynwood Garris and Cora MCCotter are another Arthur Murray dance team. Linda Burney and Samuel Gaynor are famous artists in Italy. Rosalind Brewer, Shirley Canady, Boston Cantey, Charles Cogdell, James Fields, Lula Fisher, Jack Graham, and Diane Hall are all living happily on the moon. Cora King, Johnnie King, Henry Kirkman, Mable Ward, Nannie Watts, Margaret Wiggins, Barbara Williams, and Linda Wynn are all scheduled to ride the next rocket ship to the moon with their families to settle down. At midnight the spirit of it79ii vanished as quickly as she had appeared. Anna Daughety
