1973 Blue Jacket Dedicated to Miss Janette Carroll This year at Savannah High has often been confusion where we lost ourselves in the largeness of buildings and the smallness of life. We have known teachers and administrators (good and bad) and we have felt the need to have a one-to-one relationship with someone, somewhere. Someone recognized this need and tried to fill it for us. She gave more than what was just necessary”; She gave a genuine concern, friendship, and interest. Revealing herself as a person, she saw you as a person; Never judging but by what you were. With her there was the freedom to be honest; to be an individual. All who opened their hearts instantly saw what can be when someone tries, it is doubtful that she will ever realize how much every gesture has meant. But to those of us who have been fortunate enough to know her, she has made the days of this year count. Therefore, it is to her effort to the spirit it inspires, and to the person, Janette Carroll, We dedicate this volume: Blue Jacket 1973 17
