Ashley Dearing always on the sidelines at the football and basketball games giving moral support to the Blue jackets . . . and the riotous pep meetings held before each home football game. E THINGS WE REMEMBER Memories are made of this. Or, should we say these ? NX'e take nothing tangible with us when we leave the portals of Savannah High School but many and varied memories. We will always remember . . . Mr. Mac who is always on hand when the building is used or ready to help when we lose the key to our locker . . .

DEDICA TION - here is no more worthy task than that of teaching, and all who dedi- cate their abilities to this end are deserving of the highest praise and gratitude that America can offer. But as in all professions, there are those whose superior ability causes them to stand out from their fellows. To one of these the 1958 Blue jacket is dedicated. To her students she will always be more than one who has provided them with excellent instruction and the opportunity to learn, for her classes are con- ducted in such a manner that teacher and student share a common understanding. Outside class she has served tirelessly as advisor to many worthwhile student activities. To her fellow teachers she will always remain one of those rare individuals whose time is always at the disposal of any who are in need of it. Because of her dedication to the principles of teaching, charity, and friend- liness, the 1958 Blue jacket is dedicated to WALTON EXLEY RUFF
