ADARIO SEVENTH AND EIGHTH BASKETBALL 4 I 3 1 Z The basketball team had a record of two wins and eight losses. Although the record is not impressive, the players put their best effort into each game and provided their shareof anxious moments in some of the games. First row, Left to Right: Henry Engel, David Lernmel, Steve Martin, Donald Plank, Sam Chronister. Back row: Mr. Phillips, Junior Stevens, Tom Nebergall, Lee Chronister, Raymond Bond, J erry Pickworth, and Tom McQuillen. The basketball team was fully supported by our very capable cheerleaders, Karen Winbigler, Sherry Gano, and Joyce Coy. They were behind the team all the way from the beginning to the end.

Standing are: Rex Nicodemus, Dave Grimwood, Bill Frederick, Terry Kiplinger, Ben Duncan, Larry Farmer, Steve Weaver, and Student Coach, Dan Hutchison. The main objective of a cheerleader is to maintain spirit and sportsmanship among the fans. The girls above did a very good job of this during the season as cheerleaders for the Junior High Team.
