CHEERLE DERS Rah! Rah! Rah! Go, Sailors, go! Get that ball, and fight! Six gals -- Janice Bernhard, Sarah Celler, and Loretta Whitsel, who arevarsity cheerleaders are pictured at the top. Shaaron Rhoads, Elaine Helvie, and Susan Workman, who are junior varsity cheerleaders are pictured at the bot- tom. The cheerleaders kept the basketballfans cheering for our favorite team, led the fans in their cheers, and added some pep to the games. These vivacious, vigorous, vitamin-packed gals cheered through all kinds of weather, prac- ticed long hours after school, and spent lots of time working out skits for pep meetings. Cheer- leaders were always proud of their team whether the guys came through with a victory or nor.
