FUTURE HOMEMAKERS of AMERICA The Future Homemakers of America Chapter has done much this year to improve our chap- ter, homes, school, and commtuiity. Nine girls received their Junior Degree, two received their Chapter Degree, and one received her State Degree. We entered an exhibit at the Ashland County Fair, where we received first place. We also entered an exhibit at the Loudonville Fair, where we received fourth place. We participated in a safety program which improved the safety of our homes. This summer the F. H. A. and the F. F. A. are sponsoring an l. F. Y. project which will allow two people from foreign countries to come to visit with two families ln our own commun- ity. We performed an emblem service for the P. T. A. which we later repeated at our Mother- Daughter Banquet. This year we have sponsored a record hop and a bake sale. We also celebrated F.H.A. week April 5-11.
