Great emphasis was placed on better communication and cooperation to unite the entire Student Body. The students of Savanna were en- couraged and guided in scholastic, athletic, and creative achievements. Advice From Administrators Proves Valuable Principal's Message Rebels: The contents of this annual symbolize the hopes an achievements of your high school yearsg a time in your life when you were vitally involved in life while for- mally learning about it. Hopefully, you have found meaning and happiness in life during your years at Savanna. This record has be- en prepared with loving care by your classmates and faculty and presented to you for your appreciation and enjoyment. , We will miss the leadership and stability afforded us by the class of 1969. They have been outstanding in citizenship, diligent in the pursuit of academic excell- ence, and successful in activities and athletics. They will be long remembered on the Rebel campus. Let us recall that the successes of this year were due at least in part to the efforts of former students and teachers who served to enhance the educational at- mosphere of Savanna. The lesson for those of us retur- ning is clear. lf we too are to contribute to the tradit- ions of Savanna and leave a legacy that we can later view with pride, we must lend our creativity, our willing- ness to serve, and our love to the betterment of Savanna High School.
