SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY As I sit back in my easy chair and relax, I see a book lying on the table entitled Who's Who and Why in Savage, 85. I open the book and begin reading about Ruth Hessenthaler Bates, social leader, wife of Basil Bates, the stockbroker. Noted for her lavish and charming hospitality, particularly to visiting celebrites, she has recently entertained the Prince of Wales, the King of Senegambia and others. Because of her delicate beauty, she has been painted by Van Dyck, Rembrandt, and Michaelangelo. Social Clubs: Dinner Dance Dames, Daughters of the Daily Dozen, Warren Prevost, famous inventor.
