As a token of our heartfelt thanks for your good humor, your wise counsel and your patient understanding, we dedicate to you the Sagh- daquadah Siren of 1959. ADMINISTRATION F. Today l would like to ask each one of you who is in cap and gown to reflect for a moment on where you are headed. What are your attitudes - what are the values in life that you feel are important? As you face the future, you will have to make many decisions - decisions which will affect your lives and the lives of those who will follow you. You will need to revive the pioneering spirit of our fore- fathers which embraced the will to adventure, the desire to grow in knowledge and spirit, and the will- ingness and ambition to work for unselfish goals. And, as you move forward, may l remind you that your diploma is a symbol of accomplishment of work well done, but it does not represent the end of your education regardless of whether or not you at- tend college. Education is a continuing process throughout life: it does not come in a package. We are living at a time when there is the 'greatest struggle for the minds of men' that the world has ever known. My wish for all of you as you leave S. V. C. S. is that each may become all he is capable of being! - On behalf of the Board of Education and the members of our staff, may I say to all of you - 'Good luck and God Speed! .-S w .KA Qt.
