Seniors Effect National Honor Society exemplifies leadership, scholarship, character, and service. The students elected to this societv have demonstrated these qualities during their high school years. This year a new system of induction has been used to help make National Honor Societv a working organiza- tion. Installation of ten per cent of the senior class is held at the end of the first semester. In the spring, an additional five per cent of the senior class is installed. No more than fifteen per cent of the graduating class may be in National Honor Societv. To be chosen to join a student must have a B average and must maintain it in order to maintain his membership. The training he receives in the use of dictaphones, typewriters, and dupli- cating machines enables him to obtain a job as a clerk typist. In distributive education, an expanded course dealing with salesmanship, students observe and practice in local stores the techniques they learn in class.
