STUDENT COUNCIL In addition to being the student governing body, each year the Sault High Student Council sends one junior abroad under the American Field Service exchange student program. In order to raise the money needed for the project they sponsor a carnival in the spring. Managing the student elections, preparing the social calendar, and taking care of the printing and distributing of student theater tickets all helped to provide the council with a full agenda at every meeting of the year. President Mike Cowen accepted his office with pleasure. Our exchange students, Herman Ko- petz and Bob Jacobs, were accepted as honorary members. 14 STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS.
