Speech Club Emphasizes Dramatics EACH YEAR SPEECH CLUB AND NA- TIONAL THESPIANS TROUPE 141 work to- gether to provide much enjoyment for Sault High students. The first project of the year was the annual Homecoming celebration, October 8 and 9. The snake dance and bonfire took place on Thursday night, and the parade, crowning of the queen, game, and dance were held on Fri- day. Soon after Homecoming, try-outs were held for the annual fall play. This year the play, NINE GIRLS by Wilfrid H. Pettitt, was a murder mystery which took place in a sorority clubhouse in the mountains of California. On December 14 initiation for National Thes- pians was held at the Ojibway Hotel. The ini- tiates had each won at least twenty points by working on Speech Club projects. SPEECH CLUB. Front Row— H. Lutz, A. Aldrich, S. Nobliski, D. Hakola, L. Caple, C. Mannisto, B. Ruona, G.
