Our Faculty We would like to give special recognition to our guidance office and to the tireless efforts of our faculty. Our guidance services are twentieth century advances in Sault High's educational program. Through the years our guidance services have been rapidly expanding and today our counselors help us find vocations to which we are best suited by providing us with excellent career talks and also carrying on an extensive testing program. They have given us guidance along many other lines whenever problems arose. Our faculty has done more than required of them, stayinglate to lenda helping hand to home room students in need of advice, as well as to those with classroom problems. The success of many of our extra-curricular activities has de- pended upon faculty members who have acted as advisers of these organizations. Mr. Foss Elwyn, Superintendent of Schools Mr. Harold Bruce, Principal Our Administration Since the early days of Sault High a number of able administrators have kept our school abreast of the times. Recently, under the leadership of Mr. Foss Elwyn andMr. Harold Bruce, our school has done its best to prepare us for higher education. For those of us who are not planning ona further edu- cation the vocational department has prepared us for skilled trades. For all of us Sault High has provided train- ing in good citizenship. Many of us remember , too, the ser- vices given by special teachersg among 6 these are Mrs. Eva Burdick of the speech clinic, Mrs. Mildred Husband, school nurse, and Miss Letha Stevens, visiting teacher. All of these have made things a little easier for us through the years. Since the early days of Sault High the office force has been enlarged to include an assistant to Miss McKinstry and several student helpers. They serve the students in many ways , from providing a lost and found department to helping to revise schedules. 3.3 J N Miss McKinstry, Barbara TenEyck, Leah Alexander, and Connie Ryan are in our high school office, always ready to help us.
