The Sault City Band the American Legion Drum and Bugle Corps the high school band and dance band and the Canadian Kilty Band also appeared at the largest musical extravaganza of the year. If it had not been for the ready' cooperation of the community' this concert would not have been .1 success. Following the concert .1 huge jitney' dance was enjoyed by all. The high school s own dance band provided the music for the first half of the dance and made their usual faultless performance. During the second half 1 band directed by Con Gabriel played and was a great hit with the audience. Onlj team work of this sort made the trip a possibility. This teamwork, en husiasm, and unselfish giving of time and mon.y' for the accomplishment of a desired end may serve as a part of our education-a lesson teaching us what our part must be in maintaining the peace we welcomed so gladly.
