CZ-ihose emor qdrzef qfooms If true greatness hes mn yersatnlxty then the men of 29 are the most yersatxle of all semor boys for we haye had men who haye performed nobly ln football track and basketball some who lre top scholars many who are aceomplnshed IT1US1C1ll lS and a goodly supply of able poll tncnns These are but a few notable attnbutes of th1s home room group It ns lamentable that the men of 29 have been together for only one year glyen four years as a umt we would have been the home room of all tnme nn Sault Hrgh Con sxder what we haye done ln one short year The evolutnon of 29 makes xnterestmg hnstorv W started wlth the run of the mnll freshmen ln home room 7 but ln our sophomore year the eream of the crop was placed m room 2 under Mr Hansens guidance In 1942 Wir Raker took up the superynsnon of room 2 boys plus a few others who were too good to be left m other home rooms That was the year we began to lose men to the servlces Then last fall Mr Larson took over th1s group to whxch were added a few more of the outstandmg sen xors So here we are as home room 28 so aptly put xt the ,enllemen of 29 Our offleers th1s year were presndent nm Myotte vxce presxdent Frank even prouder to boast that they are a part of the class of 44 Theres really llttle need for us to wrxte a bxography of The Fellers of 15 smee our pruses are sung far and wxde at least that s what we keep telhng ourselves We entered as wlggllng frosh nn 40 with 33 gals but a llfe of freedom and the lure of marrnage proyed too great for .1 few so Florence Teets became a br1de followed by others and Ruth Wagner 'Viarxon Sage and Betty Jane Weston left us Each sueceedlng year we took mto our falr room new eellmates and released others Then m our semor year Cecelxa Fazn Betty Ferguson Kay Fur taw lnberally of money ttme and effort to the Jumor Red Cross We have stood behmd the scrap drxves Easter seal sales and have purchased many stamps and bonds Although partncxpatmg m every school actxvlty room 8 has found tlme for three outmgs nn Canada two plcmcs -one at Crystal Falls and one 1n Belmont Park and a banquet at the Wnndsor Hotel The annual Chrxstmas part1es were an eagerly aw axted event Contrary to the Swme of 29 the Men of 21 haye the f1rst day of our glad 1'TlCCtlI1g 1n 21 1n 1940 Wlllle s Wonders haye led the class m many departments The fxrst presxdent to head th1s notable group
